Privacy and Personal Data Processing Policy

How personal data is processed when using PAX.

Version dated

1. General Provisions

This Policy describes the processing of personal data when using the PAX application distributed through Google Play and its associated services. The controller for this version of the application is Denis Vassilyev (the Controller). Questions about personal data processing may be directed to legal@pax-app.pro.

This Policy applies to PAX users and people who contact support. Data is processed under applicable data protection law, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where applicable. Separate documents may apply to versions distributed through other stores.

2. Purposes and Data Categories

Contact details, account identifiers and authentication information may be processed to register users, enable sign-in and maintain accounts. Information about access rights, subscriptions, purchases and operations in the application is processed to provide paid features and account for their use. Technical information about devices, connections, actions and errors may be processed to operate and secure the service. Information submitted to support and relevant account information is processed to handle user requests.

Additional profile information is provided voluntarily. Data is received directly from users, generated during operation of the service or obtained from payment and other integrated services to the extent necessary to verify access rights.

Photographs used for analysis, annotations, calculation results, notes and reports are processed on the device and are not uploaded to PAX servers. This does not apply to images that users choose to upload to their server-side profile. The Controller does not receive full payment card details.

4. Disclosure and Security

Data may be disclosed as necessary to infrastructure and communications providers, payment platforms, partners through which access rights are granted and other authorised service providers for the purposes described in this Policy. Disclosures to competent authorities may occur where required by law. The Controller does not sell users' personal data.

The Controller applies proportionate organisational and technical safeguards, including access restrictions, secure data transmission and security controls. Applicable breach response and notification obligations are observed where required by law.

5. Retention and Deletion

Personal data is retained for as long as necessary for the stated purposes: account and access data while the account is maintained; optional profile information until removal or the end of the relevant legal basis; and support information and technical records for as long as necessary to process requests, maintain security and comply with legal obligations. Certain information may be kept longer where required or permitted by law.

Users can delete their account within PAX or through the account deletion page; requests can also be sent to legal@pax-app.pro. Following any necessary verification of account ownership, associated data is deleted or anonymised except where retention is required or permitted by law. Users delete locally stored materials on their own devices.

Deleting the PAX account does not cancel a Google Play subscription. Automatic renewal must be cancelled separately in Google Play.

6. User Rights

Subject to applicable law and its conditions, users may request access to, correction or erasure of their data, restriction of processing, object to processing and exercise their right to data portability. Users may withdraw consent where processing is based on it and lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority, including in the country of their habitual residence or work.

Requests and questions may be directed to legal@pax-app.pro. The Controller may request reasonable verification of account ownership where necessary. Automated purchase and access checks are used to enable PAX features; errors in those checks may be challenged through a support request.

7. Changes to This Policy

This Policy takes effect on 16 October 2026. The current version is available on the official PAX website and in the application. Users are informed about material changes to data processing and separate consent is obtained where required by law.
